Start normally, enter the secret tunnel. Then go back out, up the hill and onto the fort from the rear. You are at roof level, jump down beside the shed at the exit from the quest. In the shed is the lever to let in treva and his men. They will finish the bandits and you get Detect Life. You can do this at level 1.
It's the same with Smithing. Having 100 Smithing won't help you increase your Enchanting, but having high Enchanting will increase the value of the weapons that you improve, thus making your skill increase faster. You want to do Alchemy before Smithing for the same reason. Drink some Fortify Smithing potions, put on all your Fortify Smithing
In this video I am going to show you the way I level up speech. This Method is very very simple and can be done at any point in the game!! This methods is su Transmute the ore to gold. Smelt gold bars. Smith a load of gold rings. Works fairly well. Most smith shops sell iron ore or visit some of the iron mines. Takes a few hours but worth it.
