Premium Economy was first introduced in 1991 - by EVA Air - and was soon adopted by most of the world's major airlines. It was created as a bridge between economy and Business Class. It offers passengers better perks, points and legroom than economy and is ideal for cost-conscious passengers - especially families - on longer haul routes.

LOT Cabin Classes. On flights across Europe, to the Middle East (including United Arab Emirates as well as Saudi Arabia) and Central Asia (Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan), we offer 2 cabin classes: LOT Economy Class and LOT Business Class. On long-haul flights, you can also take advantage of LOT Premium Economy.

Business class on the SAS Airbus A350. Seats in the biz cabin are arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration with each offering direct aisle access. The 40 pods are split between two cabins. The larger cabin, with eight rows, occupies the area between doors 1 and 2. Then, there's a really private, eight-seat mini-cabin between door 2 and premium economy.

If your business is paying, book Premium (or Business, or First Class!) 2. Economy vs. Premium Economy: Check-in. Air New Zealand is expected to have a separate Premium Economy check-in and priority boarding over Economy so there is a nice advantage at check-in and before you board. 3. In Scoot's case, the airline's premium economy offering is better known as - cue the drumroll, ScootPlus. But before this name, ScootPlus was known as ScootBiz when the airline marketed the cabin as a business class cabin comparable to premium economy on major full-service carriers.
Business class is offered by most of the main, or legacy, airlines today. It is popular with both business and leisure customers for its extra space, flat beds, and much-improved service and dining. It offers a good combination of value and comfortable travel. As economy class gets ever more packed, many airlines have introduced premium economy.
If economy is a little too uncomfortable but you don't need all of the bells and whistles (and cost) of booking business class, a premium economy seat might be your sweet spot. It's not a lie-flat seat, but Premium Economy can be a godsend when flying long-haul overseas, with more spacious seats and plenty of legroom, better service and Oi0QAx.
